Why you should replace it

If the earpads become soiled completely, it is faster to replace them.

This is because we could not get rid of the smell that had seeped in.

In my case, not only the outside of the earpads, but also the area where the earpads hit my ears were dirty with oil or something.

So, cleaning such as wiping off the dirt was not effective.

If it becomes this dirty, it should be replaced.

That item was sized and exchanged with no problem, but no luck.

The reason is that the material of the earpads (urethane) of the unofficial ones is too hard and I get a headache after an hour or so.

M5 does not sell parts.

I bought the WH-1000XM5 because the WH-1000XM4 was practically unusable.
